Forum Closing (Monday 18th January - Sunday 24th January)

As of Monday 18th January i am going to convert the board to phpBB3 as we are currently using phpBB2.

There are many more features available in phpBB3 that aren't available in phpBB2 and once the conversion is complete and i've finished with the phpBB3 one everything will look A LOT better.

However you WILL still be able to post on the board exactly as you would here, it would just look a lot crapper because that's the one i'm updating! Once i've finished updating i will use this URL and so this board will be replaced with the other one.

However you will keep all of your posts, points, etc...

there actually seems to be something really wrong with it...

only upgrade I saw was that it tells who's online.

Ok i'll tell you all the updates:

Can display "Sub forum" and "Moderators" at the same to each forum
When you go into a forum you can see a bit that says "Forum Rules" and that tells you the information of that section
Can change names so they are bold, italic, multi-coloured, etc
Can actually have different 'legends' (Admin, Global Moderator, Moderator, Forum Helper, etc) rather than just making a rank based on them so you can set special permissions and certain colours to a group.
Once logged in click edit profile. You can add more characters to signiture, can resize avatar automatically, and more.
Can add friends and foes. (So you can see exactly when friends are online and mass PM all friends. Can block foes from Pm'ing you.
Can add attachments, and manage your attachments (adding captions, sizes, move around, etc. And you can see all your attachments in your profile.
Tells you exactly how many messages are new / how many are unread on the main page.
Font looks better
Moderators will get their own control pannel (Like the admin control pannel just with less features)
Can give users warnings and when they reach a certain warning they are automatically banned for X amount of time.
Admin Control pannel is a lot more clearly ordered which makes it easier for me!
Bots count as being logged in so they can get information easier and so we should appear higher on search engines.
When posting a topic you can chose the topic icon you want to use so it doesn't just appear as a tick or whatever the default is

Cool. It looks good in my opinion. Plus i like the fact that you can see whose online when they post and you can add "friends and foes"

Ok, decided. Having looking through the control pannel and trying to figure everything out it is almost impossible to add portals to the side, the template WILL NOT go bigger, as you can see its squashed in the corner, and to top it all off i have to write everyones points out again,,, manually!

So all in all, i'm a lazy admin and give up entirely... i'll focus more on making this one better!
